At Balance, we provide a holistic approach to supporting our athletes in both reaching and unlocking their potential through carefully curated sports nutrition strategies.

From nutrient timing, to protein distribution and even sports specific supplementation protocols, our sports nutrition coaching service leaves no stone unturned.

We have a team of experts with a wealth of experience working across various sports and levels of experience. From local club standouts to Olympians performing at the upper echelons of sporting achievement. We have an extensive history of working with both team based and individual athletes as well as those with weight class requirements and considerations.

Our team work with athletes both in and out of season and we take a unique approach to working with our athletes.

You see, we're not just here to support the person who takes the field, pitch or whatever other arena they will compete in. We also take a keen focus on the individual outside of their sport and help support them towards the healthiest version of themselves.

It is our belief that the healthier the athlete is outside of their sport, the better they will ultimately perform within it.

Alex's Story

Prior to working with Jamie, I never had a healthy relationship with food, for as long as I can remember. As I got a bit older, this became increasingly problematic as I found myself interested in weightlifting. I found that although I was lifting weights and exercising 3-4 times a week, I did not know how to fuel my body effectively enough to make progress in my lifting and to achieve the body recomposition that I was after.

When I started to work with Jamie I had hit a wall whereby I was no longer hitting PRs, I was sustaining minor injuries and I was in a bit of a rut physically finding that I was not satisfied with my progress. I was desperate to make some positive changes but I just wasn’t sure where to start. Jamie helped me to understand how to fuel my body like an athlete, feel full all day and still eat all the foods I love.

When I was having a bad day, doubting myself or about to give up, Jamie was always there to chat about things that I felt were holding me back or impeding my progress – and what I felt I was doing well. Having that support 24/7 was a complete game changer.

Now I’m honestly in the best shape of my life, having lost body fat and gained lots of muscle – and I feel so much better for it. I’m continuing to hit PRs and perform optimally which keeps me motivated to keep going.​ I can’t recommend working with Jamie enough because I now have an understanding for nutrition that I can continue to use on my own to continue to get stronger and lift heavy. I have amended my lifestyle, not just my diet, and I feel so much better for it.

How We Work

The first step of your journey is to book a free consultation call, where you can get to know us better and we can get to know you and decide if Balance is the right fit for you.

 

You will then be sent a screening questionnaire and once this is returned you will be assigned a dietician or nutritionist coach who is the right fit for you.

 

Your coach will create a nutrition and lifestyle plan unique to you and your goals. Each week, you will check in with your coach reflecting on how your week has gone and they will give you feedback and an updated plan and advice for the week to come. 

 

Throughout the week you will also have access to your coach via WhatsApp and email for support or any questions you may have.

Each week will be a stepping stone towards your goals and achieving your healthiest, happiest self!
