Mindful eating; the complete journal

Mindful eating is a technique that helps you regain control over your eating habits and imrpove your relationship with food.

Fundamentally, mindful eating involves:

  • eating slowly and without distraction
  • listening to physical hunger cues and eating only until you’re full
  • distinguishing between true hunger and non-hunger triggers for eating
  • engaging your senses by noticing colors, smells, sounds, textures, and flavors
  • learning to cope with guilt and anxiety about food
  • eating to maintain overall health and well-being
  • noticing the effects food has on your feelings and figure
  • appreciating your food

It’s used to treat many conditions, including eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and various food-related behaviors. It may also help with emotional eating, binge eating and weight management / weight loss.

Our journal provides a comprehensive workbook and practical exercises on helping you to practice mindful eating and record your practice (to help you continue to learn more about yourself and your relationship with food).
